Casa Olivo Amatisto

Casa Olivo Amatisto, located in the beautiful colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, has just been through a major renovation over three years.

Although a dwelling existed since the 1980s, it has been expanded and totally revitalized to maximize light and the exceptional views from the site.

Three Apartments

Each of the three homes have a multitude of new amenities. Each kitchen is fully operational to facilitate preparing and enjoying meals on site.

All the bedrooms have gas-fireplaces and ensuite bathrooms that are ventilated and luminous with bright white tiles and cantera marble.

Four Levels

The house has four levels, three courtyards and multiple terraces.

The garden unit is at ground level with courtyard access. The terrace unit is on the second level with access to a roof terrace on the third level. The penthouse unit is on the third level with access to the roof terrace on level 4.

The Design

The design is modern with historic features such as cantera stone for all flooring and fireplaces and mullioned windows.

The gardens are also new and professionally landscaped with soothing fountains and aromatic flowering trees and vines. Expansive windows allow the gardens to also be enjoyed from the interior.

Guadiana Neighborhood

Guadiana is adjacent to the historical center – El Centro – and an easy and relatively flat walk to the main square, El Jardín. This is where the much-photographed Parroquia is located. Also, you'll find a multitude of shops, galleries, restaurants and markets on Calle Ancha de San Antonio, both five minutes away.

Parks and More

The home lots are often quite large in Guadiana, making more outdoors space and bright interiors possible. Guadiana Park and the bigger Park Benito Jaurez, are close by with luxuriant vegetation and flowers.

The area is relatively flat and very walkable with taxis also readily available.
